Bonjour! It’s time to take the intimidation out of preparing fine French at home and impress your dinner party guests. This 2-week course will start with the basics and move onto the building the refinement of flavors that embodies French Cuisine. Week 1 Menu: Endive salad with Roasted beets, Moules aux Poireaux (mussels in white wine and tomato sauce) and Gougeres (cheesy puff pastry bites). Week 2 Menu: Steak with Béarnaise Sauce, Pomme de Terresalardaise (potatoes prepared in duck fat with garlic and parsley) Clafoutis de Cerise, Glace de Crème Anglaise (cherries baked in a custardy batter with vanilla cream sauce).
